Plastic Container For Hot Meal

It seems that Thai food seller uses plastic container for hot meal excessively

Is it safe ?

No only eat western food served on a plate.

What do you mean by plastic?

Soupy foods are often sold in polythene bags. Who knows what purpose these bags were manufactured for.. There have to be some doubts whether this is totally safe or not.

Other foods are sold in expanded/foamed polystyrene. These have approval from various bodies such as FDA for food packaging, so one would hope that they are safe.
