PATTAYA:--Banglamung Police arrested a Husband and his Wife on Sunday evening following a 250,000 Baht robbery from a Gold Shop in Soi Kao Noi, East Pattaya on 18th October.

Since the date of the incident Police have been looking for the pair after the female suspected, Khun Orrapan aged 22, left a crucial piece of evidence at the shop before she made her escape. The owner of the Ploypirin Gold Shop is Khun Montip aged 59 who served the suspect on 18th October.

She claimed she wanted to buy two 125,000 Baht gold necklaces on behalf of her foreign Husband. Khun Orrapan was inside the shop for almost 3 hours and as a precaution the door to the shop was locked during this time. However, a further customer arrived, not related to the suspect, and when the door opened Khun Orrapan fled with the two gold necklaces.

But, she left her mobile phone inside the shop which was handed to Police. The suspect’s Husband called the phone and Police were able to trick the pair into meeting at a house on Highway 7, which they believed to be the Gold Shop owners house. The pair were told that as long as the necklaces were returned no further action would be taken. This was not the case and as soon as they arrived they were arrested and taken to the Gold Shop for a reconstruction of events for evidential purposes.

on behalf of her foreign Husband

So, is the husband a foreigner? unsure.png

Not even sure how the "husband" had anything to do with this. Sounds like she did it on her own and the "husband" was no where to be seen. But, in the photos, the male that is in handcuff is not a foreigner.

Police are still unsure if the Husband was involved in the robbery as they have no actual evidence to support this allegation.

So, is the husband a foreigner?

Does it matter? He's clearly a dimwit, no matter what his passport says.

The world needs to know his nationality, just so we can stereotype.

No her real husband is Thai (known to the farng as her brother) but she tells this old Brit/German/Canadian/American guy that comes here once a year for 3 months and that he is so hamsum and that he is the only guy for her and off course he sends her money every month for her sick buffaloes, sick grandparents etc in Isaan. (oops forgot she also has a Red Outfit that she uses once in a while if there is a Bt 100 handout.)
