Recently I went to Kanchanburi and before I went, I went online to check out a place to stay. I was quite surprised to read a number of reviews by travellers who had problems with bedbugs in a few of the resorts there. It reminded of when I first came to thailand as a backpacker and had my own experience with these nasty critters. I stayed in a guesthouse in kao sarn and woke up at 2am feeling something wasn't right, turned on the lights and saw there were about 9 or 10 of these things feeding on me. I packed my bags and checked out there and then. When i told the reception, they shrugged and put a yellow card in the pigeon hole of the room i was staying in. I saw a tv program the other day that said that bedbugs were on the rise in the states and the u.k mainly due to more people traveling, and even 5* star hotels have had problems. Has anyone else experienced these nasty critters?

To eliminate bed bugs, the bed mattress should first be cleaned, sanitized and heated before putting in fresh, clean bed sheets.

Bed bugs also is on the rise on hot places and wooden areas.

Sanitation is the key to fight off these nasty critters!
