Captive Thai Lady Was Training To Swallow Drugs

233.jpeg

A 29-year-old Thai woman was raped and held captive by a Nigerian man she met on the Internet. He forced her to swallow a condom filled with powder daily, to prepare her body for smuggling cocaine into the U.S.A. But when the man later forgot his cellphone in the room, she called for help.

SAMUTPRAKARN – November 19, 2012[PDN]; at 3:30 p.m., a Thai woman who was detained by a foreigner in a rental room was freed from captivity by the Samrong police in Samutprakarn province.

The victim, “Ms. Kratae” (alias), age 29, described her ordeal to the police. She said she had met a Nigerian man, “Mr. Maxy,” from a singles Internet site for people seeking mates. After they had chatted for a while, Mr. Maxy persuaded her to do business with his foreign tour company.

Later, on November 12, 2012, Mr. Maxy made an appointment with her to talk about joining his business, and about her desire to see her father in the U.S.A. The Nigerian then deceived her to enter the rental room. He raped her and then detained her in the room for nearly a week, locking the door from the outside whenever he left.

During that time, Mr. Maxy taught Ms. Kratae to swallow the powder contained in a condom that would pass into her stomach, to test whether she would be able to swallow cocaine to transport to the USA.

After Ms. Kratae discovered that Mr. Maxy was in a gang of drug dealers, she tried to escape many times from the room. But she was beaten by the Nigerian, who seized her mobile phone and kept her prisoner. He forced Ms. Kratae to train her body by swallowing a stuffed condom every day. If she resisted, he would beat her.

It all sounds so far fetched to me suspect a lot we are not being made privvy to.

who was it that said "truth is stranger than fiction"?

And some countries would happily execute this lady if Mr Nigerian had got his way.

Whenever we see a drug mule caught most hang them high but I wonder how many are forced to do it ?.

Scum.

Concur with LemonJelly. If by chance she leaves with the drugs within her body - what 'collateral' does 'Maxy' have? And please you backward journalist - adjust such stupidity as "The victim, “Ms. Kratae” (alias), age 29," to read "The victim, age 29, ..." No-one cares if she has a name or not, especially such a ridiculous choice.

To US? Would US even let her in? Does any Nigerians actually work or earn an honest living? In their own country, they use a method called necklacing if one us accused of just about anything and the mob mentality is right. Story recently about 5 or 6 young college students stripped naked and forced to lie in ground with car tire around their necks. The mob then bashes their skulls or face and jaws with wooden bats leaving them in pain, but conscious so they can douse them with gasoline and set them on fire while alive. Mob stands around and laughs. Great people.

Not entirely unknown for a willing accomplice to have a mid-crime crisis over profit-share concerns, resulting in a moral makeover and turning snitch.

Isn't that long since the case of the Burapha nurse in the dyed Black money scam.

:rolleyes:

Sounds like a lot of this story is missing! If indeed it was the Nigerian's intention to send her to the US, the woman would need a visa to enter the USA which would mean her having contact with Consulate officials also a passport, again this would bring her into contact with officials giving her ample opportunity to escape.

Not the best of plans? She must be in a position to provide a good description of 'Maxy', perhaps his E-Mail address & telephone number! I hope he is caught it will be interesting to hear his side of events.

1. She changed her mind and made up a story;

2. They got found out and she made up a story;

3. She had a falling out with Maxy and made up a story; or

4. Maxy does not even exist - she's making up a story.

Who knows....... befriended her, told her what she had to do to go to the States, she freaks out, he freaks out too, cus after all, he's just a mule driver on comission and desperate for a run to pay off ....... and now she knows his business...until she does a run for him, he does't really 'own' her...she's a risk..... a girl that has already done a run is much less likely to snitch, she's already crossed the line....... I often wonder what goes on amongst the African gangs/communities in and around BKK......... a change from the memoirs of a farang ex con genre but possibly as badly written.

I don't believe her story of being forced in to it, but good on her for wising up before getting on the plane.

It reads like a 9 year olds efforts at fiction.

Inadvertantly it highlights the activities of some blacks in the Sukhumvit area who seem to deal drugs with impunity. Having sai that it also highlights the corrupt Police who do not clean up this well known and tourist popular area. It also highlights the fact that the Nigerian Embassy seems to tolerate and condone the activities of their nationals whose drug dealing damages the image of the country.

For example, it is very easy to ridicule Nigeria for its world wide scams and drug dealing yet more difficult to priase the place for something worthwhile.

We know Thailand is corrupt and money number one. Nigerians deal drugs. They deserve each other.

How was he not caught? He would of needed to return to get his phone as his phone is his business link. Also he must of had some id to rent the room. Something sounds not right here?

Ditto.

So over the week, the Nigerian would have to check her poop for practice? Really?!

I also assume the dude has straight access to the US immigration service to secure her visa?! Or maybe because she has family there she already had a valid visa?

Story makes no sense. No one smuggles cocaine from Thailand into the states. The Central and South Amercians do it very well and of course it's much cheaper getting it from the source.

Maybe Thailand has become a new hub and we haven't heard about it? I'm absolutely disappointed with TNA for not keeping us informed. :(
