I recently bought a frozen Chinese Chicken Curry a guy called Nookiebear who sells a huge variety of frozen food around this area.I was gobsmacked,it was just like buying one from the local Chinky take away back home.I've already ordered some more.Excellent value too.....80 baht for a 300gram serving in a reusable mirowave able tub.

We may find "Nookiebear" in the place of our collective imagination!

Apparently the OP has even obtained distilled beverages from such a bear wondering around Pattaya, as revealed elsewhere. w00t.gif

whenever i travel to <location undisclosed> i enjoy buying a small quantity of authentic <undisclosed product>. not because this <undisclosed product> is something special but because i admire the huge <undisclosed attributes> of that shop's sales ladies.

He calls here in Khonburi every fortnight usually on a Friday morning with a truck full of farang goodies. The fresh bread is not to be missed. He sells in the Buriram and Korat areas but I seem to recollect him saying he drops off in Kabinburi and Chachensao too.

I love the idea of "authentic" Chinese chicken curry. Wasn't this chicken curry invented in a takeaway in the north of England?

"Chinky" is pretty offensive to most people with legs longer than their arms...

Just sayin'..

No its not. Theres no real offense meant by it. Its simply a sland term.

Some people seem to want to find offense in everything!wai.gif

Everyone I know calls a Chinese takeaway shop a chinky.

Not offensive in any way, shape or form.
