Rimmer Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Two men wanted in connection with Banglamung Gold Shop robbery PATTAYA:--65,000 Baht’s worth of gold was stolen from a Gold Shop in Banglamung on Friday Afternoon just after 2pm. The shop is located less than 100 meters from a Police Box. The theft was caught on the shop’s CCTV system and one male suspect was seen to enter the shop at 1.57pm and after 10 minutes, when the shop owner, Khun Wisukwat aged 38 was distracted for a moment, the suspect grabbed 5 gold rings with a combined value of 65,000 Baht which had been left on the counter and ran outside the shop where an accomplice was waiting on a motorbike. The pair were able to escape but witnesses claimed they recognized the suspected thief as the son of a local market vendor who was sacked by his own mother after stealing pork from their stall.
