Health Six Dead as Covid Cases Surge in Thailand
We had booked to go to Pattaya for New Year in 2020 under the WTT scheme. A coupe of days before they put Pattaya into lockdown, my wife phoned up the WTT people if we could get a refund but nobody had a clue so we decided to go anyway. On NY eve they increased the restrictions and as you say very little open and takeaway only. We dined in the room with the liquid refreshment I had brought along. In the evening we went out for a walk along the beach, couldn't get a drink anywhere, residents only. We went back to our hotel and went up to the rooftop bar. I was a bit surprised how few were there, then she brought the drinks list, limited choice with beer at 400 baht and whisky 500 baht. Just went back to the room, sat on the balcony with our own refreshment watching the fireworks at Laem Chabang. Following day we drove along the coast a bit outside the lockdown area and had very pleasant lunch by the sea. This was Pattaya beach about 10pm on New Year's Eve. -

When was the last time that you spoke with a foreigner?
Don’t remember the last time i spoke with a foreigner but i am an antisocial tw#t. Used to chat once a month with Bob ( not Smith ) as he was a fellow Brit, but he left for New Zealand a few years ago and never came back …… i have that effect on people. John, another Brit, lives near me and i maybe see him in the local market every six months, i turned down his offer to go drink some beers so our conversations are limited to a nod of the head and a half smile ……. he has cottoned on to my level of tw#tiness !! Don’t get me wrong i will help out anyone who genuinely requires help, Thai or foreigner, but i don’t make friends to hear their life story as it is usually unfeasibly dull or full of BS. I will chat to the Thai next door over the wall occasionally but we are neither proficient in each other’s languages so it is usually just to be polite and neither of us gets much from the conversation. In fact I would say I speak more to the cat than anyone else and he can’t be bothered to answer back …… tw#t !! -

115/54 resting pulse 58 And again, that was a paragraph. I don't make one line paragraphs like some here do, as they are not paragraphs, although some can't assimilate words if it's a long paragraph and I feel for them. I didn't adjudicate your assessment, as your assessment was wrong. You assumed 50%, and you have no idea, so again, it was an assumption, an opinion, worthless. -

Thailands number 1 forum improves by leaps and bounds since Thaiger takeover.
This is sarcasm right? There seems to be too much biased US politics and extremist nonsense in recent years where none is needed on an ASEAN forum. -

Breaking the Silence: Former UK Special Forces Reveal Allegations of War Crimes
That's right. Living in Thailand precludes me from being picked for jury duty.
