SATTAHIP:--Canine Female rescued from self imposed imprisonment

After the recent stories of dog abuse, readers will be happy enjoy a dog story that doesn’t involve Europeans, knives or physical abuse, and has a happy ending ( please see disclaimer at the end of this report)

Just after midnight, the volunteer rescue foundation that serves the Pattaya region, was called out to a home near Sattahip, after a 3 year old bitch got herself into a bit of bother.

When the sparks flew in the air and fireworks exploded in the sky as the region celebrated Loy Krathong, the three year old, four legged, local national, answering to the name of “Ace”, fled her home and tried to escape the noise.

Spotting the first bolt hole available, she ducked into the gap between her mistress’s home and that of the neighbours but, unfortunately , the gap was so small that the dog got stuck.

As she panicked, ( probably having read the stories of European knifemen in other stories) so she began to swell up and ended up firmly embedded in the narrow space.

Rescue services were told that the 38 year old owner had tried hard to free the dog, to no avail, and needed help as the dog was now stressed.

Cute...absolutely cute!

Especially this....

"no Germans, Labradors or Thaivisa readers were hurt during this report, all pictures are stolen from other, better, websites, (a special watermark removal kit has been used to disguise the source) ( not really) and the text has neither been spell checked nor examined for grammatical errors. The dog may or may not have been female, the dog may or may not be of thai extraction and indeed at some point in its genetic history there may have been an infusion of foreign ancestory, all knives remained in the kitchen during the rescue, references to germans are purely used to generate extra interest in the story and we appreciate that other superior news sources would not consider this newsworthy.. our staff have been duly admonished) "

Marvellous.

Thank You To All! We always need a smile in our lives each day...

besides....it was the best I could come up with on short notice.

Thanks also to Rimmer for starting the thread, without which,

we'd all be slagging on other threads items.
