Hwy 12 Phitsanulok - Khon Kaen

Featured Replies

Rode this yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised. Expected another super slab.

Road in good condition. Nice rolling hills, beautiful, many points of interest.

Only had 2 spots of road construction, one 50 meters and one 100 meters long.

Pictures speak a thousand words.

Yes it is a nice ride and Nam Nao park is lovely, sweeping bends, hills, valleys, bridges and gorges. Just watch out for the lunatic coach drivers.

I am lucky enough to live just off this road, on the Lom Sak side. I go up there a few times a week, its great riding. At the weekends there are many bikes heading to and from Phitsonaluk. The road to Khao Kho is a bit rougher with some dodgy surfaces and very tight bends, but is fun too. I am still exploring the area and loving it.

Great road,done it many times.thumbsup.gif

I want to explore this road again soon, and see all the sights which time constraints made me miss the first time.

Lom Sak look very nice too, I see a hotel called the Worachat House. Looks OK and will use it as a base for a night or two as I explore the area.

Anyone stayed there ?
