PoodMaiDai
The kind that is in can with a small horn on it, incredibly loud.
mcgriffith
Would love to have one of these as well. Used to buy them at West Marine in US. Handy for a small boat owner signalling larger craft on a closing course. Here, could be handy for multiple applications. I'll let others fill in the blanks. jaideeguy
I brought one over for the wife's safety when I was away, as I think that they are maybe as effective as a gun for a crime deterrent and for sure a lot safer. I think here you could find them in a marine supply shop in Pattaya or Phuket and have them send it by thai post....or just try the big sporting shop in Kaad Suan Keaw. arunsakda
Effective at repelling aggro dogs, more humane than pepper spray.

FolkGuitar
Bicycle shops used to sell them, along with a clip for handlebar mounting. These are the VERY best defense against soi dogs! When these things 'bark,' soi dogs listen... Stitchawl

PoodMaiDai
Did you want to compete with the local parking attendents and their whistles? I'm looking to blast dogs with the air horn. I don't want to hurt the little guys but they are starting to gather on our soi and are chasing everyone on bikes as they drive by, which normally would be not be so bad but we have to slow down to turn a sharp corner, which at that point your legs are dog toys if you're not careful. MrBrad
Please report back if this type of horn is available in Chiang Mai. Thanks.
SoloFlyer
Always wanted one for the car, but since seeing that vid of the attack on that poor driver who tooted the wrong guy the other year, glad I never did.
