Anyone know a name and contact information for someone who can provide a Structural Engineer survey here on Samui?

What are you looking for exactly? Real "Structural engineer" doesn't do survey. "Survey" is the term associating with land surveying, but not in the structure. May be you're looking for "structural inspection" .... not "structural survey"?

Structural engineers - do all aspects of structural inspection and structural design

Civil engineers - do everything else beside structure...like drainages and site planning...some may do structure(but they're not specialize in it)

Geotech engineers - for any aspects of soils....like soil testing...slope stabilization method but not the design parts - they will give the report to the structural engineer to design it

Survey engineers - for all your land survey needs....they don't touch the structure parts

Thanks for the clarifications BBK90210. I was indeed looking a for a structural engineer to do an inspection, and did find one.
