I actually enjoyed being in a hotel room for 15 nights with 3 times day meal room service.

A five star prison . But even convicted criminals are afforded outside yard time under most countries laws .

If you want meditation without Muay Thai, try Wat Pha Nanachart (the forest monastery of many nations) https://www.watpahnanachat.org/ The program is free unless you wish to donate whatever amount you chose to donate. Minimum 3 day stay with longer stays arranges after discussing with the abbot. Steer clear of any temple advertising meditation programs for a fee. There are plenty of "meditation retreats" like this in Thailand, especially Chiang Mai. When Theravada Buddhism goes commercial, it is no longer true Theravada Buddhism.

And an hour or so on my guitar each day.

Everyone needs an ass kicking whether they know it or not thereafter if insurance or funds permit hospital stay required would that qualify as a retreat?🤔

You can come to me, Rocky, for a 6-month retreat. I’ve got everything you need. Boxing

THAT is daylight robbery. I train twice a day at my (Muay Thai) gym - and yes, I'm in Thailand - and the cost for 6 months here is under THB 50 grand.

Any mug that pays that, deserves to get their head kicked in. Maybe in will knock some sense in.
