Dentist In Pattaya?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good dentist in Pattaya? I’m looking to get a cleaning. I have years of experience in the dental field so I know right away if someone is good or bad, so instead of wasting my time “testing” them (since it seems like there’s a million of them around here), I wanted to know if anyone has had good experience with an office around here? And if so, do you remember the cost?

I recently had x-rays and the works, so I’m looking for just a cleaning.

Thanks in advance.

"Dental for You" directly opposite Tuk com South Pattaya Road.

Been using them for years, very good dentist, 500bt for a clean.

I went there on a recommendation from TVF and was not at all impressed. Sure, 500thb is as cheap as it gets in Pattaya but they spent literally no time on the job. Didn't even bother probing my teeth for cavities. If that is where you go for your cleanings then just save you money and buy a good toothbrush,

Personally, I had been seeing Dr. Apinya from PBH for many years. She does a thorough job but the cost with ex-rays and such is more like 1000thb. My teeth are in pretty good condition so I only need to go in once a year but after trying the "Dental for you" place during the 6 month time frame I was quickly realizing that I pay more for MUCH better service.

For the record, her full name is Dr, Apinya Chumvorathayee. I would call and make an appointment to see her specifically as I'm not recommended every dentist at PBH.

Can you tell me what is a good dentist ? Especially for just a cleaning, I think they all are the same.

Maybe you can find a maid better than another one, but a dentist, sorry i don't know !

A good dentist will scrape all your teeth down to the gum line. A good dentist will apply the polish to all your teeth both inside and out thoroughly A good dentist will carefully examine every single one of your teeth for possible signs of problems. If they spot something odd, they will take the poker and see if there are sticky spots. A good dentist will floss your teeth and pay close attention to how your gums react.

Maybe I'm fortunate growing up in the US where we have very good dentists. To be quite honest, it's the hygienist that does most of the cleaning at a US dental office and the dentist only comes in to look at the xrays and examine all your teeth for potential problems.

I've had enough cleanings in my life to know when the person performing the cleaning and exam is taking the necessary time to do a thorough job or just 1/2 assing it. IMHO, if they are 1/2 assing it then you'd be better off cleaning your teeth at home as they are not taking the time necessary to examine your teeth and gums for potential problems.

Of course, after seeing the teeth of many of the UK residents here I've no doubt they have a different experience with dentists than I do.

the same dentists move around every day thats why when you go into a dentits here most likely you have to make an appointment then they come and see you, thats been my experience anyway.

Maybe the smaller clinics, but not true for the hospitals. Most are full time staff. A few of the specialists do move around though.

This is one reason I like Bangkok Dental Hospital. Almost all are full time there. Great when you are there and they find something that needs the attention of a specialist. Usually just a short wait for the appointment.

Modern Dental on Pattaya Klang on the opposite side of where Soi Buakhao meets it. I've been going there for at least the last year +, mostly for cleanings, my girlfriend for some other things, and I've always been happy. Also Dentista on Naklua Road, going away from Dolphin Statue you'll see it on your left up a little ways. Dentista is very clean and modern inside if that's your thing, either way they are both good.

In Jomtien, on the bit of road between the Hanuman statue on Thappraya and Dongtan police station, left hand side "Smile Time", about 150m or 200m before the archway/gate.

Good dentist.

Not quite true. When I visited, their Implantologists were only there a couple of days a week. Interestingly, the same names cropped up as visiting Implantologists.

I opted for Ms Suwangatte at Phyathai Sri Racha. She says put and she's the best. ;)
