December 12, 201213 yr Popular Post Thank you Rob. I will celebrate with a cup of green tea and try to suspend any thoughts of the arbitrariness of ascribing any natural or supernatural significance to a system completely devised by humans (to the extent that you would include Pope Gregory XIII in that number). Same goes for the Mayan calendar. If they were so bloody advanced as some seem to believe, they would have tazered Cortez and proceeded to gut and strip him of spare parts.
December 12, 201213 yr Popular Post Auspicious indeed. My daughter was born on 12/12/91 at Phuket and my son on 12/12/94 in Canberra. That makes them 21 and 18 today respectively. Both big occasions and needless to say, a lot going on at my place today! (my son will be having his first (legal) beer with his dad shortly .... and his dad is truly looking forward to it).
December 12, 201213 yr Now THAT's auspicious. All the best to your children on their birthday, Songhua.
December 12, 201213 yr Been, gone, and done that! I didn't notice anything special. Happy celebrations, Songhua!
