Sugar Loafs For Feuerzangenbowle

I am looking for sugar loafs, cone shaped pieces of sugar, usually 250 g each. I know, I could replace this with sugar cubes, but it would just not be the exact right thing.

I have seen big conical lumps of Sugar in Friendship (Pattaya) on the bottom shelf to the right of the baking flour area. Not sure if they are what you are after.

negative, I'm afraid. Nothing at Foodland either.

Used sugar cubes instead. The other hurdle was the 54% rum. No such a beverage available at best. Instead we used Capt. Morgan and laced it up with 60% Gorbatschow Vodka.

The result was drinkable. Very drinkable
