The small team at CW who do the 'PR book full' replacement is in my opinion the weak link in PR matters. Preparing a replacement book is done by hand to transfer the main details to the new book, and takes just a few minutes. My last replacement (10 years ago) I had come from Chiang Mai and I was in a wheelchair pushed by my Thai adult son. I said to my son "We need to come back from Chiang Mai in 4 days time on xx/xx/xxxxx" in English. The head lady of this eam heard what I said and instantly said "we can do it while you wait in less than I hour if you need to travel again from Chiang Mai. I hadn't forgotten the previous time I had to replace the full book (in those days I was travellling regionally and to Nth Asia frequently and often doing 4 trips in and out a week and my PR book got full very quickly. I went to CW (in my whelchair), I approached the desk of the head PR team at 11:05 am*, she instantly and rudely said (in good Enflish) "why do you come so close to lunch time, you should have more respect for my staff, they need to have lunch too". Then she got up and she walked out followed by the 2 other members of her team. They returned at 2:15pm. I had been sitting there (in my wheelchair) from 11:05 a.m. She said 'What do you want?' *11:05 a.m. I wrote the time down because I was a bit shocked. I said yes I will come back to CW from Chiang Mai. The PR book lady then told her staff to prepare a new book, and it took about 10 minutes. Then I moved across to the team who do the multiple Exit and Re-entry stamp (less than 20 second walk). The head lady pleasantly said 'We don't have room for you to bring your wheelchair in, please sit in the normal waiting area and we will come to see you there. The multiple Exit and Re-entry stamp was completed in less than 10 minutes, then the head lady said "where are you going from here?" My son said to the disabled parking near the main entrance to CW. The multiple Exit and Re-entry stamp lady said quickly I will go with you to ensure you are comfortable in the car. She quickly grabbed 2 small bottles of cold water and came with us. She politely helped to get me in the car (not really needed) then quickly opened the 2 bottles of water, gave me one and gave my son one bottle. She also gave my son her business card and said "I know you can get a new Exit and Re-entry stamp in Chiang Mai but if you'e here in Bkk call me and well make a plan to do the new stamps very quickly, no need to visit CW. A very pleasant experience.
