Fiddlesticks
Greetings CR Thaivisa readers, I am new to CR and I have been searching (in vain) for a house to rent. Let me add that I tend to be a bit selective! I am looking for newer construction (say 5 or less years old) with a western kitchen and an enclosed shower (I really do not like to get the toilet soaked every time I shower). I also would like a minimum of two bedrooms. Can any of the TV long-timers offer some recommendations or helpful advice. I have tried TV classifieds, internet and local real estate people but it appears that houses of this kind are as difficult to find as hen's teeth. sceadugenga
Welcome aboard, Fiddlesticks. General advice I give to house hunters is to come here for a few weeks, rent something temporary or book in a hotel and shop around.

AjarnP
Welcome to Chiang Rai, Fiddlesticks and welcome to the TV forum too. Don't believe a word they say, we're a decent bunch really (LOL)
PhayaoPete
Sorry I can't help with your request, but I just wanted to say...welcome...and that I haven't heard that expression, Fiddlesticks since I was a wee lad, growing up in the southern part of the USA. My mom was from Alabama and that was the word she used in the context of what evolved in to the other word that starts with f and ends in uck...and not firetruck...the Thai word for squash. Fiddlesticks....a great...handle? pp
