Burglar caught at Indian Restaurant owner’s North Pattaya house

PATTAYA:--An Indian Restaurant Owner returned to his North Pattaya home in the early hours of Thursday to find a Thai man had broken-into the house and was in the process of stealing valuable items.

Mr. Ahmed Desai aged 47 owns the Mumbai Magic Indian Restaurant in North Pattaya and returned to his house at the Lengki Village in North Pattaya just after 4am to find that someone had broken in. He quietly entered the house and confronted the burglar, later named as Khun Lip aged 31, who panicked and ran upstairs to hide in one of the rooms.

This gave Mr. Desai time to organize help in the form of Pattaya Police Volunteers who surrounded the house, forcing the suspect to give himself up.

The suspect, who appeared from the house with blood over his face, was taken to Pattaya Police Station where it was revealed that Khun Lip had a history of minor drug convictions which had seen him sent to Prison a number of times.

BTW, Mumbai Magic Indian Restaurant is off Naklua Road, mostly a large food hall buffet style operation.

He seems to be a nice enough guy, smiling and happy. A lot of people wouldnt think of paying off a debt this large, so it shows that he is also very honest!

No, as his trousers are also missing he probably used them to floss. Might have been a bit too narrow space between his teeth to perform.
