Information requested with regard to 800000 Baht in bank for retirement visa
Have the circumstances changed? It seems that evidence that 800K has been in the applicants bank account for 2 months-prior to application date is unchanged. Historically a 2 nd visit with a similar letter was required 3 months after the application was approved. It appears that this 2nd visit is now no longer required. Is this the case? -

Illegal Foreign Guide Assaults Chinese Tourist at Jewelry Store
To be a licensed tour guide there is a class that has to be taken and a fairly comprehensive test you must pass to be certified. I believe the license is good for five years. Not sure about the renewal process. My Thai wife was certified a few years ago and the test was not easy. You also must wear either a suit or nice slacks/dress and a dress jacket to all classes. -

You keep saying this. You don't seem to realise that when the hotel or landlord of apartment submits an online TM30 application that is the reporting to immigration. You only need to provide a copy of TM30 to immigration when you apply for something at immigration (like your 30 day extension)- 1

Bicycle sought to suit my stature
Thanks. Very useful info. Shall give it thought. I must say that the idea of towing a trailer in Thailand somewhat concerns me. Some drivers of cars, trucks, and even motor-cycles here seem oblivious to the existence of bicycles and zoom past within centimetres. I could tell some horror stories of near-misses, even on broad multi-lane highways; caused, I presume, by sheer negligence. In France the law requires a motorist to allow a gap of one metre when passing a cyclist. Which tends to be fairly well observed, since the French of all classes tend to favour cycling as a pastime. And a German neighbour tells me that in his country of origin the margin of safety is such that a cyclist who falls over will not be struck by a motorized vehicle that is passing by. -

Trump doesn't seem to like fact checking and neither do you. Perhaps if he had and continues to tell lies and spread disinformation he should be fact checked all the time. If he was fact checked all the time and found to be correct then he would noot need to be fact checked. As an example he claimed during the debate with Harris the Haitians were eating cats, dogs and other pets. That was proven false and debunked but he kept repeating an obvious lie and got upset when he was fact checked on it. You seem to believe it as well. Perhaps you need to be fact checked.- 1
