Rat trap

They seem to be focusing on someone else? Is he/she asking them about the trap? WHat is that girl cooking? Is it boiling water to kill the rats? I once had a mouse not a rat trapped in my house when i was a child. I went to school and when i came back i heard my maid killed the mouse by pouring boiling water over it. That really is a painful way to die.
