No Water -- North Part Of Ubon?

Even my wife, on the basis of discussions with village cognoscenti, has finally stopped drinking our well water (30 meters plus and in a rural area with only normal agricultural pollution). A couple of crates of delivered drinking water lasts 10 days and costs 60 baht - you'd be nuts to drink untested water - which is pretty much how the villagers put it to her.

I know most of you wouldn't, but I think I read some implication that someone might do so, in some posting above.

I wouldn't touch village/town supply water either, except if it has been boiled say for coffee (tea definitely has to be pure drinking water IMO if for no other reason than taste and cosmetics!)
