Hi there,

I'm a Portuguese guy living in Bangkok and considering to apply to jobs in here.

I have a Degree in Software Engineer and 2 years of work experience in UK as Integration Consultant (mostly Webmethods)

What salary should I expect in Bangkok? (minimum, medium, maximum)

Thanks for any reply,

Regards

Although I am not in the business...would suspect min would be THB 25k/m and max THB 100k/m......lots and lots of Thai computer type people in BKK unless you have something really special to offer chances are you will not get a look in

Be better than back in Portugal probably, PIGS ain't faring that well. Don't be despondent though you lot are just the sharp edge of what will follow.

'Consultants' are often either individuals with a long track record behind them or those who have a patchy work record which they are dressing up.

What is an 'integration consultant'? It sounds like someone who tells someone else how to put together a website, in which case which website projects have been completed? What software/programming skills do you have? and so on.
