Chinese New Year In Chinatown

Hi guy, Going to Bangkok on CNY for 4days with my family. Visit Chinatown on the 10th(sunday)or 11th(monday)feb.

Did Anybody know which day is better to visit ? Did the shop n restaurant open?

Would like to try seafood n sharp fin soup but not expensive pls.. Anybody got good recommendation? I heard of T&K restaurant . Was it ok? Thanks

Day: toss a coin, will not matter much.

Open: most of the local mompop shops tend to close that time, restrts mostly not.

I know there are many Free-Animal style pressure groups that now try to ban sharkfins-due to very cruel way these are torn off the living animals. But then again sharks usually are not the cuddly woolly type of animals that invoke loads of sympathy.

hi asanee, im chinese but from singapore. i come to bangkok before,but never on chinese new years in chinatown.
