PATTAYA:--The suspected murderer of a Beauty Salon owner has been arrested by Banglamung Police. The case dates back to 11th January when Police were called to the Beauty Salon on the Sukhumvit Road in the far northern outskirts of Pattaya.

On the mezzanine floor of the salon was the body of Khun Wimon aged 46 who had been sexually assault and strangled to death.

On Thursday a press conference was held at Banglamung Police Station led by Police Major General Katcha, the Provincial Police Commander, to announce the arrest of the suspected murderer, named as Khun Tiwanon age 21. He was arrested in Nakhon Panom Province in the North-East of Thailand on the strength of an arrest warrant issued on Wednesday by the Pattaya Provincial Court.

When he arrived in Pattaya he was taken to the scene of the crime to take part in a reconstruction which nearly ended in a riot as residents wanted to provide their own version of justice for the suspect. He went through the entire incident and later confirmed that he lived next door to the salon and in the early hours of 11th January he returned home after spending the night at a local karaoke Bar.

His emotions and drink caused him to assault her.

No excuse whatsoever, makes me wonder if he will commit again upon release.

Release?

Victim won't be released from death, don't see why killer should be released from prison.
