utalkin2me
POSTSCRIPT Yesterday i had my pass book updated. the 3 entries (2 debits and 1 credit) for the 1860TB were shown, but on diferent days to that shown on my on line account statement. not good at all; monkey banking. i will keep the account, as it works a direct debit to true vision. i'm running the balance down, and they will never again see the 800k TB 3 month retirement wad. i wonder if the next selected bank will be any better.................. I hear there is a special right now, open a savings account and get 1 free bunch of bananas.

I hear there is a special right now, open a savings account and get 1 free bunch of bananas. I like bananas, especially free ones. (I'm not a monkey; by the way!) I also like that yesterday I received a check in the post for £125 from HMRC; as a tax rebate for 2010/11. To which I am not entitled; in any way what so ever. Some funny karma here? bentarm44
Different transaction, same bank; and a new (to me) surprise bank charge. 16th Feb 2013, "on line" (on the Kas web site, loged on/into my account) transfered 1200TB to another Kas bank account. Charge of 15TB made to my account for this transaction; would have been no charge (so I'm told) if I'd done the transaction using my ATM/ Debit card at a Kas ATM machine. So, now I've discovered yet ANOTHER reason to use the account as little; and in as few ways as possible. How can anyone justify charging a customer to use e transfer on line?? Just another bling I recon.
Pib
Yeap, 15 baht ibanking transfer fee...K-Bank's ibanking fees can be seen at this Link. Look at the Schedule of Fees just below para 19. I'm not with K-Bank but Bangkok Bank...I've done several ibanking transfers from/to a Bangkok Bank account I have at a Nahkorn Pathom branch (a provinice next to Bangkok) and a Bangkok Bank Silom Road branch in the heart of Bangkok. No ibanking fees charged for the transfers but these transfers where considered in the same region (Bangkok and provinces directly surrounding Bangkok I guess comprise my region); however, if the ibanking transfers had been "between" regions the basic charge would have been 10 baht for eary 10,000 baht transferred...see this Link. From my experience and review of various Thai bank Fee Schedules, the fees charges by Thai banks are very similar for their products/services. bentarm44
Just mabe we should all be gratefull. I don't see the banks here pissing it up the wall under the banner of "free banking" and "unsecured loans" (toxic debt bankers);; and then running off in tears to get a hand out from the so called government. I know that if I use my ATM out of province of issue I get a 15TB charge, so I guess the bank apply that principle to e transfers too. Sigh. Pib
Yea, Thai banks didn't get in financial trouble from making mortgages to just anybody-and-everybody nor were they eyeball deep into the stock market casino/derivatives/options/investments no one could understand. Guess they learned well from Thailand's late 90's financial crisis....they basically didn't get caught-up in western countries' recent/ongoing financial crisis.
