Terry Newman
Well what is a sex toy? Nearly EVERY Thai Som-Tom Lady has in public on a food cart her lucky wooden carved dildo like the ones in the photo and link. with money. (the image is a bit big for here)And another. So, here is a fake male sex organ, are they going to arrest every street food vendor now? jpippy
Consenting adults. No prostitution. Okay, sex toys are "illegal" in Thailand, but you see them everywhere being sold in daylight on Sukhumvit. And these people in Jomtien were using them, not selling them. Much ado about nothing. I do wonder how much "swing" that 61 year old still has in him, though. I suspect his "open mind" is bigger than what's required for an orgy. Ah well. My guess is he used to invite multiple guests over to his room, and then got the idea to open a hotel specifically for this purpose. Open-minded pervert turned entrepeneur. I'm sure this will be the last we read of anything reported on as to followup to this story.

fakename
I didnt know it was illegal to have condoms in Thailand. Sex toys are only illegal if they are made of plastic, but wooden toys are ok.

lemoncake
From another source: The pair were charged with providing an indecent or immoral service. , i wonder what section of the law does that fall under If this matter was to go to court, would be priceless to hear the case of what was indecent inside a private room and what was immoral when ONLY couples attended
lemoncake
.. . then exposed themselves as police officers, which panicked the nearly naked partygoers." mickba
I can't remember what the charges were, but this isn't the first time I've read about organised sex parties being raided. One previous report was about one held in a Bangkok Hotel and I think there was one in Pratumnak, Jomtien. .
Popular Post animatic
But what are the charges? its not prostitution, so what is he charged with? Don't know if it was a commercial venture or purely social but organizing a public event without a work permit would be a start. valid point, only it was not public but private the WP is about all they can charge him with, but no mention of evidence he was actually working Why no work permits. It is a resort, and the owners operators are either Thai or have must workpermits. If they were just letting it be known that couples interested in swinging can come there, and there is a fee for food, drink, accommodations, that doesn't mean there is any fee for sex. This is just hypocrisy by the faux prude thai authorities. There is no hotel in Thailand where one expects NO SEX in the rooms, or in the bushes near the beach or forest. Any bet's against some influencial persons ex-mia noir or wife was going with a new boyfriend?
Cuban
For those that are interested you can visit the website here:http://www.aphrodite.../rama-kien.html Not exactly low key, but I do wonder what charges could possibly be made based on this. Its hardly exploitation or prostitutuon..... In fact this appears to be the direct link - can't see they are doing anything wrong. I assume a nearby hotel has had a bad high season. Fishface
Its more likely they went to see if they could make an arrest for drugs bit didnt find any. Its not real policing if they were to walk away with an apology.
