WilliamCave Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Hi I was look at the price of realistat near the new sky train that goes to Nontaburi the purple line past Bang Yai. Have some people lost there marbles as to the asking price in some of the developments for a house that cost 4 million baht before are now asking 7 million baht seems to be a trend here every thing almost double in some area for realistat in the area. But like I was told land and or buildings are only worth what some one is willing to pay. I heard that they are going to try make the area on Rattan A Tibet a small version of Silom or Sukmovent road. It is starting to look like it. Make it a central area for shopping and night life.
robblok Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Good thing i got some property here then, ill ask triple the price and feel like im all rich
planr Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 While RE prices might be a little on the high side, the appreciation you're seeing in value is by design. One of the main reasons the northern Purple Line extension was built before the southern extension (which would actually serve more people) is because a number of very influential people have large landholdings in the area. Putting a rapid transit line through these properties is lining the pockets of these folks in a mostly legal way. 1
WilliamCave Posted January 29, 2013 Author Posted January 29, 2013 That makes a lot if sense what u are saying I do know there are a lot of influential people living in Nontaburi. That's ok because it helped bring up the property values. I live near the sky train also but don't think my home is worth what they are telling me. About 3 years ago there were dozens of homes in my development for sale now very few are up for sale. I see now run down homes with no one in them just sitting rotting with about 50 talangwa going for 4 million starting. I live in Chai Pruk village nice clean well taken care of swimming pool good security, the problem with some developments is after they sold all the homes they get run down the management does not care no more. The reason I bought here is because they still keep it clean even after 10 years. I noticed there are about a dozen or so other farangs in the village.
tw25rw Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Maybe Muang Thong Thani will get finished off now..
