90 Day Exit/reentry On 1Yr Non B Visa

Featured Replies

I was issued a 1 yr non b visa from Houston. I must exit every 90 days. Is there a fee involved with this exit/enter process?

Secondly, do I have to actually get a work permit now that I have this visa? Or am I good as is for the year?

Thirdly, what is the best way to do another year after this one is expired?

With regard to work permits, what is the monthly salary necessary to receive a permit? Can this salary be split between several entities/companies? What about work permits for volunteering?

There is no Thai fee but to enter other country you may require a visa.

Not unless you intend to work.

Best to ask that nearer to next year.

There is no fee for doing a border run to get you new 90 entry other than possibly the visa for the country you enter.

If you are working you need a work permit.

If you get work permit and the company you are working for and your salary meets the requirements you can get a 1 year extension of stay at immigration.

If not you would need to another multiple entry visa which is getting harder to get at the nearby embassy and consulate that issue them.
