February 10, 201313 yr Close all the boy and girl bars, because they give Thailand a sordid image, This Culture Sec is a nut, good advertisement Nok.
February 10, 201313 yr What kind of response would result if all the models were male? Guys in yellow bikinis? Oh please it's breakfast time.
February 10, 201313 yr Actually, I find it almost as offensive as the Hooters and Michelin girls calendars I have up in my workshed. Edited February 10, 201313 yr by Radar501
February 10, 201313 yr this Nok air's marketing campaign (bikini female girls), isn't this a followup to what Vietnam airlines did several month ago but with more models? we can't beat Vietnam with rice but we can beat them with bikini female models.
February 10, 201313 yr Popular Post I find the calendar so repugnant and offensive that I'll do my part and accept ten copies just to help remove them from circulation...
February 10, 201313 yr They look great but of course all the girls collective brain power could not fuel a hamster wheel. What else are they going to do? Chang Beer girl job?
February 10, 201313 yr They look great but of course all the girls collective brain power could not fuel a hamster wheel. What else are they going to do? Chang Beer girl job? Who reads an encyclopedia when they're stoking the fire?
February 10, 201313 yr Popular Post They look great but of course all the girls collective brain power could not fuel a hamster wheel. What else are they going to do? Chang Beer girl job? Who reads an encyclopedia when they're stoking the fire? And for all us oldsters-Just because there is snow on the roof-it doesn't mean the boilers gone out !!
February 10, 201313 yr maybe a rename from "Nok Air" to Nooki Air? Excellent! In-flight entertainment as well as cheesecake flight attendants!
February 10, 201313 yr Popular Post Thai politicians have always taken the moral high ground, they think it will gain them popularity. Deep down they couldnt care less. What’s more concerning, (and this doesnt just apply to Nok Air’s calendar) but why do all the girls in these Thai promotions and commercials in general have to have white skin? What’s wrong with showing all the shades of Thailand? To me thats a far more alarming ‘cultural trait’ than showing a bit of abdomen.
February 10, 201313 yr What kind of response would result if all the models were male? This being Thailand I was wondering if they were. For all I know they may not be models and could be employees. Women can be ground crew, flight attendants or pilots and it's very sexist to suggest otherwise. As someone else has said they are all too white as are most models and actors of both sexes. Strange there's no complaints about that. Of course if they've just used attractive looking girls rather than people who are employees and have experience in the business that's not right. It's a bit like having a political party with lots of experienced and capable politicians and then choosing a woman to be PM for her looks rather than any knowledge of politics. February 10, 201313 yr They look great but of course all the girls collective brain power could not fuel a hamster wheel. Who cares. Smart girls are way overrated anyway, they are way too much trouble. Edited February 10, 201313 yr by utalkin2me

February 10, 201313 yr Is the new Leo Beer calendar out yet? Note as good as the new NZ Hobbit video: From the "Girls of Ryan Air Charity" calendar. Inflate my vest. Edited February 10, 201313 yr by lomatopo
February 10, 201313 yr Here we have proof that the Cult/Sec is in her own little posh snob world, oblivious to Thailands overall reputation.
February 10, 201313 yr The name on the plane is "Woody" woodpecker and it will be leaving prematurely
February 10, 201313 yr 300 copies for "fans"? Advertising is one thing (I'll leave matters of taste to others) but what is the point of such a limited edition? Easy to explain. 300 copies are cheap and Culture Permanent Secretary Prisana Pongtatpitakkul is taking care that NOK air calender is printed in every newspaper....now even TV.
February 10, 201313 yr Culture Permanent Secretary Prisana Pongtatpitakkul on Saturday attacked Nok Air for its controversial calendar. She said the ministry will soon host a discussion with related parties like the advertising association, PR companies, media and consumer protection agencies to address the issue, before using female bodies as a marketing tool will becomes an acceptable norm. All this hoo haa from some aged old female who has long since passed her best before date and is now nothing more than a jealous vindictive menopausal female who of course ignores those in power around her and their actions. Culture Permanent Secretary Prisana Pongtatpitakkul is not so aged and old and is quite capable of doing her own calendar posing. Culture Ministry website
February 10, 201313 yr Yeh but, all the models are Katoys. Really? I thought only 2 of them. Look forward for the next tip from someone at the "culture" Ministry about things that we should not see and would never know about unless it was for them bringing the issues up.
