webfact
Sons disagree on Kamnan Poh's condition The Nation on Sunday CHON BURI: -- Somchai "Kamnan Poh" Khunpluem's health had improved so he should be out of an intensive care unit in two to three days, his son Wittaya, president of Chon Buri's Provincial Administrative Organisation, said yesterday. But, he would be ventilated and under a close watch for infection in his lungs, he said. newsjs However, his youngest son and mayor of Chon Buri's Saensuk Municipality, Narongchai, denied this and insisted Somchai, who was arrested last month after fleeing a murder conviction, still had an irregular heartbeat. Hospital director Assada Teeyapan said Somchai's blood pressure was 100-130/40-60 mmHg with a heart rate of 90-110 beats per minute and an irregular beat sometimes. -- The Nation 2013-02-
Popular Post tartempion
No doubt all sick inmates are being equally well taken care of in Thai prisons as Kanman Poh
Popular Post Locationthailand
Amazing - BP is normal and heart beat only mildly up probably due to his unfit state from too much of the good life whilst evading the conviction. This guy is not 'sick'. Put him back where he belongs. Murderers and mafia heads belong in a cesspit and he is no different.

siampolee
Seems like there might just be the start of that well known illness of ''Where there's a will there's relatives. '' Hopefully the family vultures are beginning to circle over Kanman Poh.

Thai at Heart
The list will grow and grow. Bad back, ingrown nails. They are thumbing through medical text books daily. Could get comedic, starting with A, i expect a son to pipe up, not knowing anything that he will have an anal prolapse next week.

Doesn't seem too bad to me and he could take medication for it like me. Strange it only appeared to be really bad after his arrest. Mind you this is what happens when you get 2 amateur doctors who disagree.
LuckyLew
Isn't this the same or similar to Mubarak in Egypt ? Fortunate1
Give him a heart transplant, and a new pair of lungs too if required, and then stick him in jail. Sorted.
Misterwhisper
Oh, that poor, poor man! His blood pressure looks normal and his heart rate is only slightly elevated. His irregular heartbeat is probably normal, too, given the prospect of spending the rest of his natural life in a jail cell. How many other inmates in Thailand are transferred to outside hospitals as soon as their pulse increases slightly? The man was a ruthless criminal and had it coming a long time. Now put him where he belongs and disregard his heart rate, will ya!
Buchholz
Somchai "Kamnan Poh" Khunpluem's health had improved so he should be out of an intensive care unit in two to three days Great news. Now that he is soon stabilized and fit for transport, they can begin to comply with the law and return him to Bangkok Prison's own hospital. .

Payboy
, denied this and insisted Somchai, who was arrested last month after fleeing a murder conviction, still had an irregular heartbeat. Yeah, every time someone says it's time to return him to prison, Somchais heart skips a beat.

Fozfromoz
Just another piece of shi@ that should be locked up but isnt.. nobody has authority in this country NOBODY... First part spot on, and a slight comment on your second part :-) There are those that do have authority, and maintain that authority, even after they have fallen foul of what passes for law here. Horrible buggers treating dear old mum like that It'd be quite funny if he had to hide in the shithouse when his lads visited home so they could genuinely claim not to have seen him. Bit like a lakorn with old Mrs. Khunpluem trying to herd him into the bog with a broom and he falls arse over tit to the sounds of crashing cymbals as his sons are ringing on the doorbell.
