Downloaded the other day and must admit think its pretty dam good.

So far only the free service, BBC1 BBC2 ITV1 ITV3 FILM4 and SKY News.

But i think they'll have a new paying customer soon .

They sponsor one of the forums , foget which one , but worth a download for free.

That is of course if you can stand British TV ;)

I have thought about this and haven't tried it yet.

Concerned about the 3MB bandwidth requirement but is this international or within Thailand bandwidth? If the latter then should be no problem.

With the missus away for a few days sounds like the ideal time to give this a trial.

Great for many things but with the strict seeding requirements you can't always get what you want. I usually stick to free and neutral torrents.

Try to learn up about their RSS Feed and install the RSSfeedScanner in your torrent client. That way, you can get every "Free" they have as soon as it is on the site and others will upload from you giving you a great ratio. I am currently about 370 GB up and have stopped seeding overnight because I just don't need the ratio!

Also have a look at TorrentDay. wink.png They also have a RSS Feed.

Edit:

And dailytvtorrents.org ;)

I typically do the same, using eztv for the US shows (and some UK also), and of course the perennial favourite, TPB.

It does work remarkably well on crappy, slow connections. I had it working fine on a 1Mb hotel connection in Singapore :) You just have to give it chance to build up the buffer by starting a show then pausing for a bit.

Is there a link where I can find info about the package?

Given it a try and I'm impressed. No breakup problems, reasonable picture (on the laptop anyway) and very user-friendly.

As they are (or maybe were, not sure) TV forum sponsors, I'm sure the link is allowed for Colonel Mustard

Thanks for the link. Sad to say it doesn't seem to work on a Mac.

The link I gave is for the company that is a TV sponsor. The second one isn't so will probably be deleted very soon. Also the first link does have Mac-specific software whereas the second link needs a work-around.

This is the one that won't work on a Mac unless you partition and install Parallels.

Just tried that one. Good quality picture and sound. But Jesus H. Christ, isn't daytime TV total crap!

And the adverts... I would be chucking bricks at the screen if I had to put up with them again.

I'll stick with torrents - advert-free, watch when you want.
