Power and water authorites' employees called on to strike

A state enterprise union leader Monday called on employees of power and water authorities to strike against the Thaksin government.

Somsak Kosaisuk, an adviser to the Confederation of State Enterprises Relation, made the call during a rally at Sanam Luang against Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

He said workers of water and power utility authorities nationwide should take leave from jobs to join the rally held by the People's Alliance for Democracy.

Somsak said workers of water and power authorities would also not collect water and power fees from the people this and next month as a sign of their protest against Thaksin’s failure to pay taxes over the sale of Shin Corp’s shares.

Employees To Strike

This could really create many problems is they opt to do this. :o

That will only piss people off and needless to say I think that would be illegal in their part.

I worry already.

Saw a cheap generator for my computer a few month ago....
