mistitikimikis Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 (edited) Somebody has a clue which snake this can be? Found him alive in the garden where he is stillroaming around I suppose and at the moment of the shot he threw his old skin away. (Well, as I'm never able to post a photo here is a link) Edited March 1, 2013 by mistitikimikis
Goshawk Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 it's a Common Rat Snake (Ptyas mucosus). Totally harmless to humans the blue cloudy eye in your pic indicates that it's about to shed its skin.
mistitikimikis Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) THANKS Goshawk! Indo-Chinese rat snake (ngoo sing baan), Ptyas korros, is my ID of this snake still good?? A couple of days further I found his clothing indeed somewhere in the garden. Goshawk, location: Thanon Nimitmai, Khlong Samwa - BKK, size I estimate about one mtr.
