Just ask yourself why is Pattaya International not on BUPA Thailands approved list?

Largely because they bill pad and try and jack up prices after the event, even asking some westerners to join in the insurance fraud.

Their top guy (owner ?) is also a bully and for someone so well educated and outwardly loving of westerners, loves the derogatory "farang" word and despises the people who have largely provided his wealth.

Had exceedingly bad experiences at BPH when there we now go to Pattaya International & in fact they rectified mistakes by BPH.

Personally High Recommendation

By the way the fees were much lower the service much more professional

Seems about right, think all farangs are on the hate list now from Thais, especially with the baht being so strong, were all fleas on the dogs back, good reasoning to say 'bye 'bye to Thailand.

Stroke or emergency govt.hospital to get stabilised, then outa Thailand. I'm off to India in a couple of weeks for annual medical testing/minor surgery (its good and cheap, even with the air fare).

Bangkok Hospital is now far superior to Pattaya international.

Why?

1/ newer and more modern equipment

2/ in general more highly trained staff

3/ Lower prices when compared like for like

We have lived here since 1999. This is the current status based on our experience.

1/ and who do you think pays for all this new equipment

2/ unfortunately most of the professional staff (doctors) are contracted and don't work for the hospital full time

3/ go in and ask to see Bangkok Hospital Pattaya's price list, they won't show it to you. Go to PIH and it is sitting right at the counter for you to look at
