Nong Khai - Anou Savari Festival

The largest festival for Nong Khai began last night so if you plan to be in or around the area make sure you spend a day or two taking in this fun event.

There is a wide selection of street food, shopping, teak furniture, beer gardens, live music, games of chance and amusement rides. lots of fun for the whole family but a few things to be aware of:

parking in and around fountain square is non existent

traffic problems galore

hotels are a little busier

an up swing in petty crime (watch your belongings etc)

But all in all a fun time for the next 10 days or so.
