Travel Insurance/trip To Europe

Featured Replies

I'm bringing the family to Europe for 3 months so I want get travel insurance.

I understand that most policies don't usually cover extended trips but can anyone advise me or point me in the right direction please?

If you are applying for a schengen visa, the Embassy usually have a list of those agents they use, I know for sure the German Embassy has,

My wife used AXA on her many trips.

If your family are visiting for three months they may want to consider an annual policy, many cover for trips of up to 90 days.

As you are posting in the Pattaya forum you or your family might want to speak to this broker based there.

Go see Jack Levy at MBMG next to SEAT on South Rd.

Is he accredited by the Embassies, if not then when applying for a Schengen visa the insurance will not be accepted.

As I thought check out this from the German embassy, I realise it is in German but click on the lower right under "Krankenversicherung" and open the PDF the above mentioned company does not appear on this list.

Try the sponsors - AA Insurance Brokers as they are about the best around and know the biz - next to Big C in south Pattaya

I have an annual multi trip policy I purchased via the net from Bupa in the UK covers me worldwide for about 20 Million pounds.

Cost was just under $500 Australian and have renewed it at same price even though they covered me for a major emergency surgery in Los Angeles that cost about £25, 000 UK pounds.

Best service and best investment I carry in my pocket always.
