I know that a number of peeps on here have bought Ainol tablets. What are your impressions of them? Are they good value for money? What problems have you had with them?

I have one, (Nova Flame 7) but I have never used anyone else's tablet so I don't know if I have a good one or not. It does everything it should, and the kids use it constantly. But playing movies on the HDMI to the TV is not smooth. I think I need to upgrade some firmware. (currently confused and hesitant to try that though). I do love the tablet though.

I've been following that thread, and to me it seems there are very good decent priced tablets out there, but they are suffering from the Chinese style quality control disease.

Meaning you buy one and it'll be perfectly fine, and the bloke buying the next one will have grief.

You can have the same with premium brands, but at a far lower percentage.

Very happy with it. Works well and has a long battery life.

Occasionally freezes and you have to stick a pin in the reset hole.

Not a big problem though.

Good product with an excellent after sales service. Replaced the one I bought for my daughter with another one after eight months. Though the replacement came after almost two months, it was a big surprice.
