Western Dvd Player De-Coded?

I have a DVD Player coded Region 2. Where may I get it de-coded? Thanks.

Do a google search with make and model number and question about decoding it. Have done this with several different brands and have always found a solution. It usually just required a sequence of button pushing on the remote!!!!

I have a JVC DVD/CD karaoke player which act as home theater too who doesn't play copied disc?? only originals!

Is that normal and how to fix the problem because 90 percent of disc on the market here are copy.

I doubt is is recognising it as a copy, it probably has a very sensitive laser that won't read poor quality discs. Not all "copy" discs are illegal so I don't think they would build in such a mechanism, even if the technology were there to do so.

Nothing you can do about it as far as I know.

But I am no expert, just my past experience. If I am wrong no doubt someone will post a correction.
