New Place To Stay When In Pattaya

Recommended Posts

I happen to live in the "Boonies" but occasionally I like to visit Pattaya. Went to the same Hotel for many years, (near second road/soi diamond). But now they are starting to believe that "high-season" lasts all year.) Well, it's only a very short distance from Walking-Street, that may be the reason.

Looking for other room-rental, Soi Buakao or Third Road would be fine. I usually rent by the week or monthly. Only minimal comfort required, since when in Pattaya, I do not spend that much time in the room anyway.

Any tips?

Thanks & cheers.

You could try soi sak kaew beach where soi 9 would be off second road, excellent location and not too expensive. Let me know what you think please.

Thanks. I know the location, walked around there a couple of times, but wasen't looking for acommodation at the time. I agree, location would be OK. A name of a Hotel/Appartement in particular that you had in mind?

Cheers.

Quite a lot of of small decent priced guesthouses on Soi Lengkee between Soi Buakhow and 3 road.

For example Pattaya Noble Place 2. http://www.pattayanobleplace.com

Stayed there for a few nights during last years low season, paid 500 or 600 THB per night.

Pattaya Noble Place 1 on soi post office (13/2) is also perfectly ok.(newer)

Thanks for all the help folks. I would prefer to rent on a monthly basis, I would only be visiting Pattaya for weekends (if at all). So it would not make sense to rent for 10'000 Baht and upwards.

After all, I may have to look "on the Dark-Side" of Pattaya.

But other than that: Lady friend of mine for 15 years in Pattaya tells me over the phone: "Have room cheap maak maak".

After much talk over the phone it turns out: Small room, not furnished exept for matresses on the floor, already booked with 3 ladies. My lady friend pointed out that this fact could be in favour of me.

As tempting as the offer may have been, I had to decline. Thailand is an amazing place to live, isen't it?smile.png

Cheers.

Hello

" Walk In Mansion " on soi bukhao was 8 K baht a month, tiny( I do mean tiny) room. Larger rooms but 10 K + 12 K

" Baan Po " 3rd Road, soi 8 was 7 K a month, small but not tiny, quite nice for the money.

"Baan Choi Na soi 9 Pattaya Klang( also off soi bukhao ) about 7 K a month.Reasonable.

Central Place Apartment soi 16 off Pattaya Klang, about 7 K a month.

I`ve viewed all but not stayed at them.

Have contact details if any use/interest.

Also have info on some naklua places at similar prices.
