Advice from any TVers. My first report is due March 24, a Sunday no problem going in Monday 25? I know the regs say up to 7 days after the report date but some of the postings have me worried about immigration officers not caring about the regs.

So, OP how did it work out? Perhaps you could join the over 400 other posts on the long-running "90 day report" thread elsewhere on this forum.

Monday meaning the 25th of March NancyL. Probably just keep the days events to my self, unless of course something outrageous happens.

I went in today to do my 90 day report and also change my current address. Walked in the place was wall to wall people at 1 pm . Kept trying to get a que number but noticed the que numbers for 90 day report were 000 just a few people standing around in front of the counter . So I walked up handed them my pass port and copies the student took it made some entries handed it to the officer he stamped and signed it handed it back to her I was out the door in less than 5 minutes with that part done . Walked back to Investigations in the back asked what I needed to do to change my address they handed me a form explained it to me offered me a chair and a pen again in and out less than 5 minutes ! So no complaints from me was treated nice and got in and out in a flash . Fastest 90 day report I have done thus far . It seems that you no longer need a que number for 90 day reports ....

I did it in Pattaya recently and was also super fast. Not sure why you needed to change your address separately though; the immigration lady in Pattaya actually asked "Do you know where you stay now?" (Yes, I do actually have to make it back there unattended..) so I showed her the address on a card I got at the condo building reception and that was just fine. All very friendly and polite.

Went and did 90 day report today at 2PM and was done by 2:10PM. However I had a question about if we even needed to do it:

1. Our 90 days would be up on March 23

2. We are flying out of Thailand on trip on March 27th

3. Since it seems you have 7 days following the 90 days does that mean we didn't have to do the report since we'd be leaving before that 7 day grace period was up?

Nope, you'll need to do your 90 day report before leaving, L&J. That "grace period" is for doing the report, but not for leaving the country. Technically, it will be overdue when you leave on the 27th.

ive never done one before and mine is coming up soon. What do i need to bring with me? Just my passport?

Passport and arrival card, some offices also want a copy of your passport data pages and stamp with permission to stay, as well as copy of arrival card. Some offices also want to se some proof of address, like a rental contract or a utility bill.

Most common is just show the originals.

I was in there for my 90 day report this morning and we needed a chit. Got it at the center counter, a handwritten jobbie. I actually saw them send someone who didn't have one, back to get one, and yeah, the boob spent more time complaining and arguing about it than it would have taken him just to get the damn number in the first place. The last time I was there (approx 90 days ago), there was no one actually being served (it was around 11:30) at the counter so I walked up, handed my paper worker to the fine gentleman behind the counter and he knocked it off in less than a minute, no chit. BTW - they don't use the LED que number sign, just polite word of mouth is used to move people up.
