AS i shut the gate this morning something caught my eye. The movement of the "bee" was unusual so I looked closer. I couldn't believe what i was seeing because i couldn't see anything. The tiny ant was so small it was invisible to me. I just took photos with my phone and cropped them.

I know ants can lift 10 times their body weight but I wonder if this one was a heavy duty performer. I think the "bee" is more than 10 times her (its) weight.

The insects in Thailand keep me fascinated.

I don't see an edit option so I'll just add that this worker who does what it does for the benefit of all in the colony without thought was pulling the bee up a 90 degree wall. Incredible, IMHO.

Maybe just landed on the ant for a lift.

Well spotted

Let's be happy they don't have something like the bullet ants of Central America here, only small and harmless species. Amazing how efficient they are at cleaning up, though. When the dogs make a mess eating, and leave bone splinters or shreds of meat all over the place, or a Gecko or Cockroach drop dead, it's all gone without a trace within hours.
