I never knew sports men smoke... Balotelli will always be Balotelli.

Apparently berbatov is a smoker, my mate bumped into peter crouch having a fag out side a pub in london when he was at spurs

and modric came bac pre season 2 years? in a row and had a mystery throat virus? and has commented that 'everyone in his country smokes'. but saying that i'm pretty sure smokers are in the minority.

Me too in my younger days. Only 20 max on and off for 20 years before a girlfriend I wanted to keep refused to have me in the house (bed?) unless I stopped smelling bad.

Pity I didn't meet her 20 years earlier - have just been diagnosed with asthma tendencies following bronchitis and pneumonia that probably emanate from my smoking days. Not particularly invasive (still running and swimming fine), but I could do without the prospect of expensive inhalers (once I give up UK tax residence) for the rest of my natural. Having a baby of 3 yo at a ripe old age I could do without the prospect of 5 years being sliced off my life too!

Not at all bitter. C'est la vie

loads of footballers smoke. rooney's a ten a day silk cut man. the amateur. berbatov loves a puff, didi hamann smoked like a chimney, zinedine zidane was a smoker too. when you just train and play every day you get away with it more.

Yeah i've seen more of my family dead prematurely through cigs than i like 2 remember. And Sorry to hear bout your diagnosis santi You could try these exercises. they, done on a 5ish mins daily or even less but still a regular basic will 100 % 4 sure help you, 1/ amnaloma viloma and 2/ kapal bhati, they are yogic breathing exercise's I could run through how to do them, but its probably easier 2 Google them and find some decent video or instructions, BUT DO forget about all the 'mystic hippy bollacks' that accompanies them they are just bloody good exercises and work wonders 4 the air passages. If you work and are ok with these, there are other things i can show you that will help.
