I have a Non O Marriage Visa that expires in July 2013, I got a divorce last Feb, and departed Thailand in March 2013. I need to return to Thailand last week June 2013, and will leave Thailand again First week Sept. I don't really want to enter using the Non O marriage visa as I am divorced now, and was looking at getting a 60 day tourist visa, but I really need about 72 days actually. Can the 60 day tourist visa be extended 15 days or does it stop at 60?

If you have a valid multiple entry visa you can still use it even though you are divorced. Your visa is not tied to you being married and is still valid. Only and extension of stay from immigration based on marriage goes away when divorced.

If you make an entry prior to the date your visa expires you will get another 90 day entry.

A tourist visa can be extended for 30 days at immigration (1900 baht).

Did you get a re entry permit on your Non O visa? If not you can't use that visa now.

Thanks UbonJoe, I was concerned that Thai Immigration has already received confirmation of the divorce, thereby flagging my visa and passport. Are they that organized? As I want to stay legal for future visas.

Immigration is not notified of divorces or deaths by the Amphoe.

As I said if it is a visa that you have then it is still good. If an extension of stay it is no longer valid.
