^Damn, that's the one car I always wanted to own, but never got around to it. I owned some other beauties from the era, but not that one, my favorite.

What I find interesting is that in this post your communicating on a level I understand, yet in other posts you come across like a dyslectic ADHD sufferer.

Does that make me a confused motorist or mearly one that over thinks the situation?

And I hate the look of that ugly car, the Facel Vegas. The name sounds like some sort of disease you only get in Nevada!

That comment gave me a good laugh and reminds me of the great quote by Basil Fawlty: “I can certainly see you know your wine. Most of the guests who stay here wouldn’t know the difference between Bordeaux and Claret.” cheesy.gif

I like to DRIVE my car.

Not wash and polish it in the drive way and wonder if the teenage girl across the street thinks that I am cool...

The guy across the street from me is a mechanic and owns a garage. I'd never dare take my car to him though .... he bought his teenage daughter an old Hyundai Accent.

I wouldn't bother with a Recaro Seat. Id steal the Cement Bench from Mom n Pops to remind me of my first fancy new car. A 280 S.E. 3.5..Not joking, i remember it every time a have a Leo at Old Nops Shop. What a V8 it was though. Some may regard it as Fugley, compared to a Fino.cheesy.gif

One cannot be a former V8 nut transam.

I hang my head in shame to admit that I once could be seen driving a powder blue Nissan Bluebird to and from work but at least I had a '49 Single Spinner with a 351C in the shed at home.

This thread started to go down hill about the time of my first post.

V8's, even Toyota's pissy little 4.0 litre are great mate! biggrin.png
