Hello people.

I've posted a couple of times regarding my girlfriend who's had a difficult time in the UK with her husband who she left a while ago.

We've faced the fact that she will have to return to Thailand with her son shortly, but she has asked me to go with her, which a want to do. If I apply for a visitor’s visa, can I keep doing the visa run to Cambodia to renew it to enable me to stay longer? I want to be able to stay as long as I can so that one day I can adopt her son, as it’s not just my girlfriend that I love, and his real father has shown no interest in him.

With regards to work and supporting ourselves it’s not an issue as I run an internet site, and I can operate this anywhere.

We both want to go to Thailand, I know things maybe difficult there, but she misses her family and I fancy a change.

Ps, is there anywhere in particular in the UK that is best for an application.

Have a re-read of the thread you started here. I think you'll find most of your questions on this point are answered there.

Are you sure that this is the best course of action? Have you considered her returning to Thailand and applying for another SV as your spouse? Of course, you would both have to get a divorce first.
