I was just watching a sports program from the US streaming and they went to a Mercedes commercial. You can get the Cla for 29K ( 900,000 baht) or lease for $319/mo ( 9500 baht). Wish taxes were a bit lower on cars here!

When German cars are so cheap in US I wonder why people still buy their <deleted> local cars...

One reason would be, not many buy cars. Most of the big selling US brand vehicles are pick ups or SUVs.

The top selling cars are usually Japnese - Toyota Camry, Corrolla, Honda Accord, Civic etc.

The best selling Ford or Chev sedans are way down the list, but then so are the German Corrollas ( 3 series and C class).
