Ive recently notice several new wireless antenna boxes mounted on houses in my area similar to this one ----

It seems that AIS have now started to provide their AIRNET service , so I thought I would request a visit by an AIS technician to check my house position out in relation to the strength of signal and the over all service I can expect to receive . I have filled out the on line request form and am awaiting the AIS engineers visit.

In the mean time I'm a bit confused with the packages being offered, I would like an unlimited package with no limits if possible , but I can't see any restrictions mentioned in any of the information . I was thinking about the Home Plus package ---

The Home Plus package seem's to have two price options

Package - Home Plus

7 / 7 = 890 Baht

10 / 10 = 1,290 Baht

so what would I get with the 10 / 10 that I would not get with the 7 / 7 .

There seems to be another set of options on offer , but I don't understand them ---

Any one have experience with AIS AIRNET and could comment or offer advice please . wai.gif

The table is meant to compare AirNET to three other ISPs.

I think the speeds are self-explanatory? 7 Mbps download/7 Mbps upload vs. 10 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload.

The Home Plus packages allow for greater application flexibility, i.e. bit torrent.

You may also be able to get TOT Wi_NET, which is a similar service.

I have been considering this as well, but after having a friend go into Thai internet forums, there seems to be a high volume of complaints as to technical service.
