I don't know what the shiny ones are but the grey looking ones are similar to a potato and have the same texture and flavour with white flesh.

Small stall in front of a shop across the road from the local primary school.Does a roaring trade in the morning and lunch break.

Those shiny things Ron are Hewll ,sounds a bit like Hell to me when a Thai says it.

^^^Chestnuts of 2 types....on the left are the standard ones, on the right the carabao variety. Seriously!
