Forget The Headscarf Issue !

Featured Replies

The following is from 'The Australian' website..........

A SOUTH Australian independent MP says he will oppose a bill banning the eating of dogs and cats in the state, as it plays on racist fears.

Under legislation proposed by the state government, anyone caught eating a cat or a dog would be fined $1250.

But independent MP Kris Hanna said there was no legitimate reason to outlaw such practices.

"Apart from the principles underlying vegetarianism, there does not appear to be any justification at all for this bill," Mr Hanna said in a statement.

"The force behind it is racism, it plays upon unfounded fears about people from our own cultures who have different eating habits to our own."

However, he said the bill would become law regardless of his views, as it had the support of the Liberal opposition.

Soon you wont be able to wear a headscarf, cross, turban and wont be able to eat dogs, cats, lizards whatever. It may also be illegal to drink beer in case you upset a person from an abstaining culture. Even vegetarians will try to introduce new laws forbidding eating meat, in future. What next ? Illegal to fart ?

In Thailand, there's a saying: "To kill a cat is to kill a monk". So I guess that it is also illegal to eat a monk.

What next ? Illegal to fart ?

Dont light a match !!
