You can phone | e-mail | visit in person Eric Dohlon of insurance in Thailand who has an office near the original Phuket Tesco. He is the broker who provided quotes for the policy I had for a few years on a rental house and for the past four years on a home I own. The policy is in Thai and English. Eric took the time to send several policies for me to consider and answered his phone on a Sunday afternoon to phone the claims department of Safety Insurance Public Company when we had a minor electrical fire. Eric made sure the claims adjuster was at our home the very next day and guided us through a simple claims process. There was a significant policy discount if we paid for 3 years in advance which has worked out well for us as the USD has dropped. The Insurance company paid the claim directly to my bank account, no waiting for a check in the mail. Eric was born in Thailand, is a Thai and Swedish citizen, speaks English and Thai perfectly and is worth meeting with for insurance. He is a licensed insurance broker.
